Pros

Great employee development program. Executive is even more motivating than management. Undergoing great cultural evolution.

Cons

Is almost impossible to professionally progress to a department other then the one you started. Specially if you are in sales.

Pros

You can get ahead if you have the right connections (family, personal, etc). SMI management encourages doing the bare minimum so you ensure you come in at 8:30 and leave at 5:00 every day. No overtime necessary.

Cons

Horrible department (SMI). Motivation and morale is very low. Leadership of the SMI is lacking in many areas and does not care to develop any of their people. Bonuses are a joke here.

Pros

A wonderful mission to help the insured get the healthcare they need. Great coworkers who work their hearts out for the company. Good compensation and benefits.

Cons

Poor C-suite leadership, which cascades to the executive team. This rogue's gallery of petty, spiteful, self-absorbed "leaders" is the reason so many good people are running for the doors.
