Pros

I can't think of any

Cons

Executives are full of themselves and look down on everyone. New culture enables vp's to collect fat salaries for doing nothing while lower level staff are struggling to keep their heads above water.

Thank you for sharing your opinion and experience at Healthfirst. Healthfirst is doubled in size in two years and that sort of growth can be challenging in the most supportive of corporate cultures. Still, no one should feel diminished by executives whether deliberate or unintentional. HR, along with the executive staff, are committed to enhancing the employee experience and supporting a more engaged partnership between leadership and staff. This sort of change does not happen overnight and while we are proud of the progress we are making, we still have work to do and are committed to enhancing the employee experience at all levels.

Pros

Most of the employees are very hard working and are the reason why many come to work everyday. Good 401k matching, PTO and a small bonus for all of the employees, telecommuting opportunities. If they could have competent management it could be almost a 5 star company.

Cons

Management is a disaster. They are incompetent at best and extemely hostile if you address your concerns. It can be a toxic environment to work in. Staff is not recognized for all of the hard work and many hours they put in. Many are fearful of retribution from HR so many complaints are not reported. The structure is set up that you can either telecommute or advance. Many come to the organization for telecommuting but then later are told it is a "privledge" and can be removed at any time or directed to come into the office(nonperformance related). Also they are not told if you telecommute you can not advance up the corporate ladder. Which I suspect leads to the poor management, it's only people that want to come into the office that can be promoted.
