Pros

New to the company, but not to working as an Analyst Coder. I’ve been doing this for almost a decade now, and I’m more than satisfied with the work environment I’ve so far experienced at HeiTech. It’s a huge upgrade from the last company I worked for, and I wouldn’t be surprised if I ended up sticking around a while.

Cons

I haven’t noticed any major red flags yet.

Business savvy and intelligent managers

Pros

Management runs this place like nobody can. They’re all incredibly intelligent and business savvy. They really care about their people, but at the end of the day very much run things like a business. I can see why that would rub some people the wrong way, but you don’t get to the top of a successful company by being charitable. If you’re someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of the business and become a success yourself, this is a great place to work.

Cons

I don’t have a lot of patience for the people who come in here and then complain that the business is being run like a business. Every business exists for the same purpose: to make money. It’s not a charity and no one is owed anything. There’s a lot of entitlement in younger generations and it’s just something I personally consider to be a weakness in some of my coworkers.
