Pros

None that I can think of, and I thought long and hard about this.

Cons

Minimum wage, no mileage reimbursement, You get $50 for gas but will spend $100+ a week. You have to set up tables and tents and carry them in your car. No sitting while at events all standing on your feet. You will travel 7,000 minimum miles a year just to the office meetings for 3 hours three times a week and about 200-300 miles a week to locations. Who wants to drive for 15,000 miles a year for $15 an hour before taxes?! Many places are 40 miles from you because you are going to the suburbs. No one wants to sign up or talk to you. And no one is applying for this job so they use recruiters because turn over is non stop!!! Commissions are not paid out unless you get at least 7 a week, which is very hard to do. After taxes and wear and tear on your car, you will average around or below $10 per hour. You are better off working at a fast food place. You will lose money driving around so much and it will stress you out traveling 3 hours in traffic to and from a place for a measly 4 hour shift. This job is for desperate people. Hard chairs to sit on in the office, unrealistic sales goals. repetitive meetings that don't add value to your life or sales, you shouldn't have to go to the office 60 miles round trip every other day.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. While it sounds like there were some areas for improvement during your tenure on the sales team, we appreciate you sharing this feedback with us, and we have passed it directly along to the sales leadership team here at HelloFresh. We provide Brand Ambassadors a weekly mileage reimbursement to account for the travel. Events are scheduled in and around the city to take advantage of high foot traffic of potential customers, which we do to maximize value for our teams - but can mean travel is required to get to various locations. Brand Ambassadors earn uncapped commission, and the lion’s share of individual sales is reflected in your paycheck.

Pros

- Free Snacks - Once a month free lunch - Depends on which office you work on you get better treatment

Cons

-Very chaotic company with a lot of issues (constant re-org, no transparency, and mid-management are NOT good managers) - Depends on which team you work for some have a better team environment while others are more solo -There are a lot of young managers that get promoted but cannot lead at all. Management needs to address this otherwise more turnover. -Very frustrating process when there is limited of resources -No career growth as well

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We are continually striving to make HelloFresh a great place to be, by providing our team members with enriching work, opportunities for growth and development, and by curating fun events for our employees. We are committed to employee professional development, and we strive to be a company where individuals want to build their careers. We actively strive to promote from within and many members on our Senior Management and Executive Management Teams have grown with HelloFresh and have been promoted into their current leadership roles. Additionally, we've developed a Manager Fundamentals training curriculum, engagement tools for managers and their direct reports, and other plans to roll out additional management and leadership training with a focus on driving more invested partnerships between managers and their teams. Communication is a major focus at HelloFresh and we have developed a cadence that we hope creates more transparency: we have quarterly Town Hall meetings to share business updates, and encourage regular 1:1 meetings with managers to cascade information to every employee. We aim to be as transparent as possible and strive to help all employees understand our business and how decisions are made. In our manager training curriculum we provide additional training on developing relationships of open communication between managers and their teams.
