I am sorry to hear you had a negative experience. Help at home works hard to meet or exceed industry standards for compensation and it is something that is reviewed regularly but also depends on Medicaid reimbursement rates. In areas where our wages aren’t as high as we would like, we try to offer additional benefits like greater flexibility or paid time off. Pros

Old owners still around sometimes and actually care about you as a human being

Cons

Losing pay, vacation days and benefits. Becoming a phony, sterile corporate environment without addressing any real issues. New carpeting doesn't hide the fact that people in the corporate office are doing/dealing drugs in the bathroom.
