Pros

Very thorough training, ongoing training. Staff really care about the seniors. You get trained in advocacy for the elders as well as home care skills. I went to a really great Christmas party before starting, so there are employee activities outside of work that make you feel part of the community.

Cons

Not enough work, I had to quit because of lack of work. Picky clients will ask for somebody else without giving you a chance. Menial house work- laundry cleaning etc...

Pros

If you care about seniors and disabled persons, this is the company for you.

Cons

They care nothing about their employees. No management training to teach people skills. The management staff talks to you and treats you like thugs. No opportunity for growth unless you're part of the clique. Especially, if your performance and knowledge exceeds others. The benefits and pay are also sub-scale.
