Chaos, Zoo, a Joke

Pros

Easy job to get and to maintain if you can afford 3 full day training and then 4 hours trainings every quarter

Cons

Trainings are a joke, downtown chi location is a zoo - employees fighting with their supervisors, scary to even be there, workers are treated like a heard of animals. Rules are getting more and more stringent and supervisors are walking on needles and are under too much pressure. Work time tracking method is insane and not efficient

Pros

Certain ( very select few) clients were very pleasant to work with. Work is not difficult.

Cons

Management will never ever have your back. Clients can accuse you of ridiculous things, and management will halfway back you up, but still look at you sideways and jokingly ask if you did anything wrong. They have no concern for you, only themselves. Management is snippy, condescending, and all around rude. Many people are written up for ridiculous, and/or unavoidable circumstances. Management pays no attention to your schedule or needs. Your phone will ring 5 to 10 times a day, but 75% of those calls you will not be able to take with your schedule. Filling in for other aids, you can see what lazy coworkers you have. Clients homes are frequently filthy, or they are asking you to do things that are outside of your job description. The few clients I filled in for that I really had a nice time caring for, the office would refuse to ever let me fill in for them again after I told them I would love to fill in if needed. You are always scheduled to long for the job. You can be scheduled to be at someone's home for four hours, for only one hours worth of work. The office only looks at things from a business point of view, not from a caring, healthcare point of view. So they will always cover their own behind, so you better watch yours. If they don't like you, you become a target.
