Pros

Some people are nice to work with. They are no other pros that I can add. The hours are terrible and the dealership is number one to all managers. This is only for the dealership I currently work for. Other dealerships may be different.

Cons

Managers don’t know how to manage and have favorites. Problems are not addressed and salesmen complain about everything and when they complain managers will fix something, when anyone at GS complains problems go unfixed. Currently seeking new employment.

Pros

Luncheon once a week(free food), matched 401k, health benefits(very limited on what it covers though), discounts on service and parts (very helpful for anyone that owns a vehicle)

Cons

No raises at all(not sure why they don't offer raises, yes benefits help but the cost of living goes up every year and this is unacceptable), extremely hard to move up(most employees if they stick around long enough don't even get an opportunity to move up or even become management due to the people at the top only choosing who they like not who can make a difference), high turnover rate of employees due to once they find out people have been there for 5 to 20 years without a raise they get out as fast as possible. I've had to help train at least 15+ employees that have quite or left within the last 6 months and our department only holds 10 to 20 max. The incentives are if you want a raise you'll have to work, cheat, steal and beg for money from customers in order to get a raise yourself. Loyalty isn't praised here it's a burden it seems like to the management. NO TIME OFF AROUND HOLIDAYS, if your family is in a different state and your grandfather might die due to age and uncle will have surgery soon they still will not let you use any vacations days around holidays to see your family. This is incredibly poor employee treatment.

This place is a nightmare

Pros

The bonuses are nice, helpful around the holidays. The work schedule is doable, most major holidays off. Some ok people to work with

Cons

Horrible bosses. I currently work here and I hate it. I'm only here still until I find employment elsewhere. This place is very cliquey & they play ALOT of favoritism here as well. We're supposed to be getting raises back in march and they're holding those up. Rules change every week & the workload is unbearable and does NOT match what we're paid.
