Pros

This is a wonder organization to work for and I had an awesome time. I work in the late 90s

Cons

I reported to corporate management about being harassed and verbally abused by a male colleague and was terminated immediately, while the male employees remained employed.

Pros

This company is really flashy (in terms of how HQ looks and the overall "We can make change, together!" vibe), and looks great on your resume.

Cons

My manager/supervisor is absolutely horrible. She leaves a constant negative energy wherever she goes, and is so universally loathed among my peers I have no idea how she even still has a job with HJF. I use the term "supervisor" very loosely, because the only time she ever supervises me is if something is wrong in a way that might affect how things look financially. For example, I never can get her to answer any of my emails, which I need to do to complete my job well, and she literally NEVER responds. She sent me an email the other day (I literally still have an email unanswered from about 6 months ago) asking me to correct a small error on my timesheet. She also has made some serious errors in judgement that could have resulted in not only bad PR for the company, but could have also led to possible legal action. Long story short- I have felt really alone and disrespected because I am unsure of who to speak to about the issues with my supervisor, which in 2021 is really unacceptable. Reporting structure should be noted upon hiring, and I wish I could know who to turn to.
