      Not very good place to work

      A few nice people, professional atmosphere, amazing immediate boss.

      Cons

      Most people aren't very nice, no team atmosphere, feels like everyone is out for themselves, backstabbing among "team members", upper management has an "us vs. them" attitude, no training, you're supposed to learn everything on your own, HR has ZERO contact with employees after a very weak onboarding the first day, and cannot answer the simplest questions (such as "when do I get paid?"). No sense of camaraderie. If it wasn't for about four, very sincere, truly nice people here I would never have stayed.

      Pros

      Flexibility of work hours and the ability to work from home.

      Cons

      Outside of no reimbursement for travel and phone, recently Henry Stein has chosen to change their pay model with little notice. This poorly affected the majority of their sales team employees, but per management “things happen”. Employees have lost over half of their normal scheduled paycheck with little to no notice. Some employees are leaving, but dedicated employees that planned on retiring within the next couple of years are forced to change their entire lifestyle and move from their homes. I would never recommend anyone to work for this company.

      ZERO Racial Diversity in Leadership

      Pros

      The company culture is wonderful and the people have a high level of integrity. HS continues striving to get better everyday.

      Cons

      There's very little racial diversity in leadership. Very few people of color in high level positions. If you're white, male, connected with the right people, you have a chance at growing professionally and financially.
