Cons

Very little work/life balance They talk the talk but don't walk the walk when it comes to your well being Expected to move at the blink of an eye Lowest industry salary Promotions have a lot to do with timing and who you know Vacation policy could be better No bonus eligibility for 5 years

Pros

They have really great benefits for Administrators, and the hours (for Admin) are not demanding. They are really good about letting people take time as needed with out penalty.

Cons

As an Admin you will ALWAYS be an Admin, which is fine if that's all you want to do, but if you want to do something else in the company don't count on it. You make be offered the opportunity to work in another department-as an admin, not as a part of that team. Also moving up, and making a higher hourly wage has to wait till the next job (2-3 YEARS). Don't be fooled by the great benefits though, if there isn't work for you after your project's done, you're out.

Ridiculous Hours

Pros

-The nature of the work is both interesting and challenging. -You will never be bored. -Great health benefits.

Cons

-You are expected to work 60+ hours in a normal week. During more hectic project phases 60 easily becomes 80 hrs/week. Your weekends are not yours. You don't get compensated for all the extra time yet it is still expected/required of you. -It's all about who you know (who you suck up to) not what you know. -Hard to get support (both personal and task-related) from superiors. -Minority retention is horrible.
