An Ok place to work

Pros

Good pay, benefits, vacation time and hours. People are generally good to work with. Environment is generally pleasant.

Cons

Need to review how they pick people for management position and Management does not take criticism of upper management well. More training on all new systems being brought on board to be worked on.

Pros

Their benefits are ok with your choice of company vehicles and stock purchase discounts. They require many hours of training annually.

Cons

Every year expenses go on lock down in the 4th quarter and layoffs loom regardless of YOY improvements. There is absolutely no work life balance at this company. The expectation is that you work through holidays and vacations.

Competitive pay for Branch Managers, and the car is nice.

Cons

Long hours. Constant feeling of being underpaid. No work/life balance. Unrealistic goals. The only thing consistent about Hertz is inconsistency.
