Pros

The Company which may be recognized for the brand name. Transport and cafeteria are good. Please see below cons for more details.

Cons

1. Managers are the real superstars in hexaware, unskilled people and people joined in late 2004 as freshers are managers now. Very few managers are exceptional. 2. There is not much role difference between team members and team leads, everybody will do the same work. Team members who are lucky enough to be favourites to their Managers can enjoy benefits like onsite, promotions. Managers are not concerned that this will create disparity within the team.

Pros

Onsite opportunities are great if you are skilled specially for USA. Lot of body shopping Good in Mainframes, Peoplesoft, .Net and Oracle. BFSI, Airlines and New technology DU are good. Very Process Oriented and Client Driven Most of the employees have come up with lot of hard work and performers are really very competitive compared to others in the industry.

Cons

No H1 visa only B1 or L1. If you are returning from long term onsite then don't expect a raise or retro at offsore for atleast 2 yrs its better to leave or go onsite from some other project. Offshore technical experience is good but at the cost of low salary and late working hrs. Company fired approx 500 employees during recession. None who were technically sound and had god relations were fired. But they didn't increase salary for 2 year so they left on their own. Managers are well connected within themselves specially Gujju's so they rule. Technology training opportunities are not available and accessible easily but they have a good library. Mumbai center not good for Java, Chennai is good for Java. Most major projects go to Chennai and Mumbai get step brotherly treatment. There are few big clients and big projects in Mumbai. Company believes in bonded labors and does not let go employees so easily it will use all means to retain them at lower cost. Company many a times retains certificates while joining. Company pays the market or above market rate while hiring or might even give joining bonus but next 2-3 years don't expect much if you are at offshore even if you perform good. At the max you can bargain for onsite. You have to put up with a lot of Politics
