1) The work environment is good. 2) The work tension which I had is very little 3) There are many social interactions with many people by organizing functions for festivals.

Cons

There were many layoffs due to market crisis. My poor friends were lay-offed due to this. Luckily before this crisis itself I had an option of doing my higher studies so left the job.

Hexaware was at the top of their game in terms of expertise in technology (PeopleSoft HR when I joined in 2003). If they can find another niche product that they can be good at, there's a lot of learning opportunity. Fairly decent training program for all levels of employees. Great for experienced mid-management folks to rise through to senior management quickly.

Cons

Highly political management. Promotions and advancements within the company can depend on favouritsm.

Pros

Relatively small company. Training used to be very good, though only for 3 weeks, after which you're shoved into work. Joined as a fresher, learnt a lot. Fortunate to have very competent, helpful colleagues. Management was above par, atleast in those days.

Cons

Joined as a fresher for a measly stipend, about 1/3rd of what freshers got in Infy. Made to work very hard for that, sometimes whole nights. Not particularly concerned about ethics. Seen the quality of people declining steadily.
