Pros

Great health coverage Company match for 401K but you’ll never see it anyway

Cons

Salaries start at $43,000 annually, which already speaks volumes. You’re given just 10 total days of PTO per year, but can only use 5 per half. The rest? Use it or lose it. The AE role isn’t what it sounds like. You’re expected to book your own appointments, sell them yourself, and then manage the client relationship afterward. Don’t expect much support from the digital marketing specialists, many times they scare away prospects with inflated budgets that don’t match the reality of small business needs. The quota? Two new clients per month at an average price point that’s completely unrealistic in today’s market, especially when competitors are offering websites for $100. Expect to push $800/month packages for services that often don’t deliver real value to local businesses just to get a minimum sale. Worse yet, my reputation in the community suffered. I’ve received threats, angry calls, and bad reviews simply because I was associated with what I was required to sell. That’s not something I take lightly.

High Turnover

Pros

Good work life balance. That’s about the only positive of working here.

Cons

-Extremely high turnover - Low Base Salary - Constant Changing Pay Structure - They lie and tell you it’s all warm leads. It’s a cold calling job - You sell small businesses and then they cancel and you get charged back on your commissions when inevitably the program you sell them fails - Want to promise the world to customers and then on the back end build extremely generic and terrible websites and programs, leading customers to cancel. - Managers seem to do nothing to help you and then you get all blame

As a current employee we would like the opportunity to address your concerns directly. Please give us a call at 855-447-4428. Our Sales Planning department works hard to provide scored leads to all of our teams. The overall compensation opportunity is based on the average new employees annual earnings. As with any sales opportunity you get out of the role what you put in. We have one of the lowest customer churn rates in our industry which is a testament to our products and services delivering results to our customers and we are proud of this. Wishing you all the best!
