Pros

Most co workers are great, fun to work with, and Hard working . I say most because there are some who Should be working flipping burgers instead if sales. Achieving goals and getting bonuses was great and rather profitable To me. Most managers treated me like a human

Cons

Here we go: 1. Where is this company going ? It was fun to have one product (print ) now there Are 21 products half of which suck and are a waste of customers money 2. The archaic laptops are crap as is the order entry software they have . It makes a sales rep want to smash their computer daily because the programs don't work While trying to process an order. 3. They keep releasing we versions of the software update but I think they fail to test It before it's released as the amount of time with IT on the phone and glitches is painful 4. The company tries to sell new products , or should I say forces sales rep To sell crap to make numbers. The failure of these upsets customers and Forces a sales rep to make up lost revenue elsewhere. 5. Too many cooks ( management ) in the kitchen . To some I say " what exactly do you Do here ?" Many managers are leaders by fear and couldn't sell a glass of water to a Thirsty and dehydrated person . Yes you A.Z. 6 . The pressure to sell is so great , that reps are now curling up in a ball , sucking Their thumb and don't want to come to work . 7 Hibu has been taken off the stock exchange and shares rendered worthless . Hibu is owned by creditors. Google it you'll find it ! 8. Commissions on some products isn't worth the time and hassle to sell Or recommend them 9. One core value is " have fun , keep score and win" We'll the job isn't fun anymore , the score is what have you done for me today , his can you Win if your market declines 10% to 20% each year and the company has declined The last couple of years . Don't be fooled by their digital growth numbers . It's a lie. 10. This is a dying industry . The company relied on print so long that they forgot To keep up digitally . They've tried but failed . With the decline of print , digital has a Long way to go to play catch up. 11. I'm sick of the negatives

Pros

Great products, ongoing training, decent base salary. Nice people overall

Cons

Digital commissions on existing business too small 3% below national average between 10-20%. Commissions on digital new websites too small 10% for the amount of work and visits it takes to close the sale. Below national average. only pay real money via quarterly bonus based on game style program of points = dollar bonus. Hibu excludes print dollars and existing sales from bonuses. Company wins most dollars by setting unachievable bonus goals to hit bonus goals. Tricky game style bonus program. Tell you you hit bonus then wait 2 months to pay then tell you that certain sales were excluded therefore you don't qualify for bonus! Thick level of management more like a Boys Club. Not sales Rep driven rather management driven. Managers make the money in this company. Around $150 up a year. Reps average $65 with lots of intense scrutiny weekly monthly. After 1st 6 months the company begins to apply extreme sales pressure daily. Only focus is on websites although 50% of work requires maintaining print customers no print sales apply towards quarterly bonus program.

Pros

work from home.... I guess...

Cons

This job is horrible. All you are doing is cold-calling people 24/7. Be prepared if you take this job all you will be doing is cold-calling people. The most draining and unfulfilling job ever. The turnover rate is so bad that they will hire just about anyone or anything to do all their dirty work. They don't care about you as a person all you are to them is a number. I'm not trying to be mean either it's just pure facts.

As with most sales organizations we are results driven. The most important result is to provide excellent digital marketing products and services to our customers to help their businesses thrive. Cold-calling will always be a part of a sales role and at Hibu we do drive the majority of our activity against highly scored leads. Best of luck!
