      Run do not walk away from an opportunity to work for yb. Trust me it's not worth it.

      Pros

      There are absolutely no good reasons to work for yellowbook.

      Cons

      They do not respect their employees. The base salary is way below standard. And yellowbook customers hate the company, billing and the products! Many of my customers say yb's billing makes absolutely no sense and most companies have stopped advertising with YB because of it.

      Pros

      Good training for new salespeople. You get to learn about multiple types of businesses and how they attract customers. The high level of activity will be a good resume builder. The product is essential for businesses to grow customer bases, so you always have a story to tell.

      Cons

      Too much emphasise on collecting of old bills. We are salespeople - not bill collectors. The changing advertising landscape is hurting 'old' media. They tend to treat their reps like children - in in the morning and back at the end of the day just to 'check in'. That worked in the 80's - not now.
