Pros

There is great potential for growth and knowledge within Highgate Hotels. Salaries and bonus packages are very competitive if not slightly higher compared with other Hotel organizations for Management employees.

Cons

As with all companies, there will be challenges to cut expenses and to minimize staffing...it will feel like working with a skeleton crew. Working late and 7 days a week and while on vacation are very common for Management.

Pros

Highgate cares about your growth and opportunity and brings a fun working community and environment. They are the premier management company. The pay and benefits are the best. I wouldn't want to work for any other management company. Highgate also supports great causes and is growing tremendously.

Pros

Highgate takes a different approach than most employers and they want to dream differently and think up new and exciting ways to innovate in our industry. We are challenged to make each day an impactful one with our team and our guests. Working with my team and my mentors it allowed me to break out of my shell and really discover my self worth. I have Highgate to thank for helping me find myself.

Cons

We are a growing company with many different types of locations. Because not every location operates in the same way or to same hotel standards (branded/non-branded) not all of the processes and procedures are the same at some hotels. Because of that I feel that our policies and procedures set forth from a company level aren't as detailed or outlined as they could be.
