Pros

I enjoy the people I work with. HK, Maintenance and guest services work well together.

Cons

Upper management is very selfish. GM are encouraged to take weekends off and they refuse to help with coverage even in times of desperation. They high AGM with very little knowledge for the franchise and that tend to be just as lazy. Sales team, GM, and AGM tend to sit in their shared office all day everyday so the hourly sales manager logs 6-7 hours of OT every week yet they force HK, maintenance and guest services to cut their overtime which means things that keep the hotel functional get put off cause people get sent home

Pros

At least you have a job… they would make sure to remind you of that. That’s their motto

Cons

No work life balance at all no matter what they claim to promote, unrealistic expectations and deadlines with no qualified staff, they don’t care if you work around the clock every single day their attitude is if you don’t like it … leave, they make sure everyone one knows they are replaceable.
