      Pros

      If you are in the Accounting field or in an upper-level leadership role, it's a great place to work because you are part of the VIP group of Highgate; growth opportunities, great benefits & compensation, and level of respect.

      Cons

      Unless you are in Accounting or a leadership role, you are not important. A huge amount of growth has happened in the Corporate office over the last year, but only in the Accounting department; others are denied the same opportunities.

      The ability to receive promotions by proving you can master your current position; the Company has a huge focus on Employee Satisfaction, and not only conducts a satisfaction survey twice a year but mandates action plans to be done to resolve issues; A growing company that is expanding into new markets; Dedicated and talented senior leaders; Great pay and benefits; a company that truly wants its associates to have fun and make their mark!

      Cons

      Highgate has high expectations because of our dedication to providing an outstanding guest experience and delivering financial success to our ownership groups. Being with the company for over five years, I believe they are reasonable and fair expectations. However, the people who I have seen fail with Highgate are the ones who only want to just get by doing the minimum, or else do not have the skill set to deliver. For the talented people who are driven to succeed, the sky is the limit for their career at Highgate Hotels.
