Pros

Money is great overall even with stagnant dual compensation plan. Transparency is unparalleled. Everyone shares the same common goal, or at least the same kool-aid.

Cons

People are beginning to hide in the beareaucracy that comes with being a large company. Instead of learning new skills or taking care of a task, emails just get forwarded. Strong talent is overlooked or burnt out. Unqualified managers abound just because they've come up with the company. Poor performers are threatened generally, but due to the cost of teaching someone new the Hilcorp way, they are allowed to keep their position and hinder everyone else's development.

Pros

I loved working at he company because everyone knew each other's or each other's names. Everyone there is so flexible and resilient. Not a soul had a negative attitude.

Cons

One of the downsides of working there is that I couldn't work there long. Actually the position for working there, I think, probably didn't even come with goos benefits.
