Pros

Great incentives, Good insurance options, and you can make good money

Cons

Very stressful, If your juggling schoo, kids and marriage, Having to deal with time you don't make sales suck. Because they make you feel bad about it. You have to always have your "A" game, or you don't sell. Too stressful for ppl with other priorities. Therefore they have high turn overs.

Pros

Analysists speculate that the economy is only going to get worse before it gets better. Hilton is currently on very solid ground and is prepared to weather that storm. Other companies in the hospitality industry have done more than scale back on labor, some have eliminated annual bonuses for line employees and executives alike. In Las Vegas, NV, Station Casino's recently announced the discontinuation of company matched 401k contributions. Hilton Grand Vacations has not eliminated bonuses. The company matches up to 5% of 401k contributions. This year during benefits enrollment, a PPO and HMO was offered, as they are every year; however this year a third option was available. Enrollees were given the opportunity to customize their health care plan to better suit their budgets and their needs. The company also has been very savvy in finding ways to save money. Over the past year the IT department switched emulators used to run key operational applications. Not only was there a savings in cost, there are more options available for customization. Although the company has an open door policy, employees have an option of calling a hotline to report just about anything. The hotline, operated by a third party, is available to employees wanting to recognize and praise their fellow co-workers, or for more serious matters like harassment. In the event an employee is concerned about speaking out, identity can be withheld and a case number is then assigned so that the status of the case can be tracked. The company also has a very generous PTO plan that can be used for voluntary time off, sick leave, and may also be used to pay out up to 8 hours on company recognized holidays; furthermore, hours are accumulated based on earnings. When an employee is using their PTO they are still accumulating time on the hours they've elected to use! Of course, another perk of working for Hilton Grand Vacations is the team member travel program! Rates are based on availabilty; however when they are available, rooms can be reserved for rates as low as $29/night plus tax. Rates are determined by the brand. Comped nights are often times granted by properties owned or managed by Hilton. There are also many other specials and discounts that are available to Hilton employees and range from cellular service to gym memberships.

Cons

While many of the benefits I listed above are available company wide, anything that I write here would be more genearl to region I am in, the property where I work, and the department in which I work. Even among shifts the general concenses may differ. I will share this though, I am a very satisfied employee.
