Leadership is struggling with change in industry. Hitachi Vantara seems to focus on Legacy storage product (VSP and on. The management talk about devops/ digital but seem to lack any strategy to get there. Massive layoffs have been going on for 3 years. Nobody at lowest levels feels safe. Ironically Hitachi talks about it's double bottom line (profit and social impact) but doesn't wait to sacrifice the second (Employee layoffs) to make the first.
