Pros

I like knowing i can move up the chain based on my performance. My supervisors are very supporyive of my goals and my drive in the company.

Cons

It seems hard to get rid of employees that are not performing well. There are not many ways for me to reward good performance or behavior.

Pros

*Great pay. *Great work environment *Flexible work schedules for school

Cons

Pay scale should be adjusted for long term employees. Employees that have 10 yrs with HL are paid the same as new hires.

Pros

At Hobby Lobby, you get Sundays off and the stress level is very minimal compared to other retail companies. When your tasks are complete, management can usually find something else for you to do, so you are almost always busy. However, if that task does not get finished because you were busy helping customers, management does not blame you and say that you are not working hard enough.

Cons

The communication is lacking. In the frame shop, we get three different directives as to how the custom frame samples are supposed to be seton the wall. The directions we are given come from three different people who don't really communicate with each other.
