There is always something that needs to be done, making the long hours at least tolerable to get through. Weekly pay.

Cons

Very little training and often the teacher/trainer has minimal knowledge or experience in what they are trying to train you on. There is absolutely no backing from upper-management making it next to impossible to enforce productivity standards. LONG hours, increased responsibilities every couple of days with to pay increase or opportunity for advancement in site. Lack of communication btwn upper and lower management. No need to continue on but I could....

Pros

The loaders are tremendous group of people to work with they help each other. The loaders were the only reason I showed up each day.

Cons

They believe in working you to death. Love to degrade lower Management and staff. Work you 60 and 70 hours a week and do not pay overtime. They tell you they have a very low turn over rate. HA HA. I was replaced by two people. They believe in age and sex discrimination. Corporate will not do anything about it. Hundreds of hours of overtime with no pay. In 40 years of management experience this is the worst company I have ever worked for.
