The only pro are the clients

Cons

No company benefits,even though I worked 40 hours a week. no overtime, no employee review until one year employment- no raise. Claim they are not able to afford raises to staff. Scheduling was always unpredictable. This particular franchise does not follow up with calls to there clients - hardly ever checks on the elderly although the only thing concise is the weekly billing to them.

No benefits after the first year Low ball pay for your experience , dedication ,and especially being in the heath care field The company promoted me with an increase in pay of $.50 after two years The schedulers can be very rude and nasty to the aides who work out in the field

Human resource department is extremely well organized. Very flexible scheduling if you want part time work.

Cons

Sometimes are called to fill a shift two hours before you are needed--even so, you have the option of refusing without any ill will toward you from the schedulers or owners. Starting pay rate can be as low as $8/hr, which is in line with the industry's rate of pay.
