Pros

1) The projects I work on are highly impactful to the business 2) I'm given a ton of autonomy and support from the Senior Leadership Team 3) They invest in their employees! They have a Leadership & Development Department which provides on-going education for communication, leadership, management, and culture for both individual contributors and managers. They do this monthly! 4) Free lunch everyday (healthy and unhealthy options)

Cons

1) We're growing really quickly and there are lots of changes (bugs, product features, organizational, etc) 2) I think it's a little stressful because there are so many big projects going on simultaneously. Requires a lot of attention to detail, strategy, and people management skills.

Pros

I've searched for so long to find a company that puts their employees first - and now I've found Honey. Honey is a place that lives by its values, from the staff to the co-founders. Every day I come to work excited to be around people who are not only fun people to work with, but also people who are incredibly humble about their own talents and hungry to learn more from others. Even the CEO/co founders have the same traits - it's not uncommon to just strike up meaningful conversations with them at any time. From an idea as simple as saving people money, some of the smartest people have come together to build products that will have a lasting impact. Since I've started at Honey, I've felt heard & validated by my manager (and other coworkers around me) about my own ideas, my career aspirations, and most importantly, my belief in learning and development. L&D is something that is taken seriously at Honey and I personally have never been told 'no' to something that would help me develop and contribute to the company. After working at many companies where I did not feel valued, it is an amazing feeling to feel valued and invested in at Honey. Of course, all the swag, free lunch/snacks, office/team outings, and other benefits don't hurt either :)

Cons

While I haven't personally experienced any blockage to my growth, I have noticed in some other teams there is hesitation from managers to allow their teams to learn more on the technical side. I think increasing accessibility to learning & development opportunities is very important - not just talking about it, but making it available to ALL teams. An example: Honey is hiring professional coaches for the managers, but not making them accessible to staff.
