Pros
Most of the time, work is so fun that it doesn't even feel like work - as long as you love what you do, you'll be in a good place. The people are awesome (at least, most of them) - smart, passionate, and fun colleagues make the work environment super enjoyable yet challenging. And the perks are amazing - daily catered lunches, matched 401K, cool swag, fun team outings, benefits, list goes on. It's clear that the company truly cares about the happiness and well-being of every single employee, which is motivating and refreshing to see. I genuinely believe in the company mission and can't wait to see where the journey goes - it's not everyday you get to build and promote products that will yield positive effects for millions around the world. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better place to build my career and spend my time. Lastly, the co-founders are awesome and I wouldn't want to work for anyone else.
Cons
As with any high-growth startup, there are growing pains with rapid expansion and getting the hiring right has been one of the challenges. Working alongside colleagues that aren't pulling their weight or slowing the team down can be difficult.. but at this rate of growth, we're not going to get it right every time. Let's just be better about the hiring process in the first place.
