Pros

When I first started at the company, I was very enthused by the mission and happy to be working in a space I was passionate about (senior care). A few years ago, there were inspiring people on the leadership team and the opportunity to get involved in various projects. There also used to be learning and growth opportunities (however I have not felt that any of this applies for at least the past 1-2 years). Snacks + lunch is a nice touch for employees. Neat, high-tech offices.

Cons

-No growth trajectory. No one listens to employee feedback and in order to find growth as an employee, you need to ask over and over. Even then, it's unlikely they'll do anything but put it off, make false promises. -Upper management being brought in that seem to have no knowledge or previous experience in health care or geriatrics. -This company does not INVEST in its employees! A couple times a year, without fail, there is huge turnovers (firings). I have never seen this much turnover in my life, or even close to it, at any other company I've worked at. No sense of job security when nearly entire teams are let go every few months. The best companies find great talent, help them to reach their potential and do everything they can to keep the people they hire- I have not seen this at Honor and know many of my colleagues feel the same. -False promises by upper management. They will say one thing and do another - promise employees raises, promotions etc- then keep them on the hook and never follow through, even after a positive round of reviews. -Overworked employees with no work-life balance. Quite cliquey atmosphere, leadership/management definitely lets off an air of favoritism. -Classic bait and switch- jobs and teams change so often that it's unlikely you're doing what you were hired to do once a few months has gone by.

Pros

Honor is truly trying to improve the way we care for our parents. The company is 100% mission driven and lives by its core values of owning the outcome, acting with honor and solving with empathy. They founders care deeply about the employees across the organization and are highly attuned to employee engagement at all levels. And engagement is extremely high, as it is for Honor partners and for our clients. This is a fantastic company and I would highly recommend it as a place to work for someone who is looking to make a big impact on society while working with an incredible team in a fast-paced, collaborative and fun environment.

Cons

I really cannot think of any negatives of working for Honor.
