Pros

Incentive pay, pick up shifts any time, clients, locations.

Cons

They’re going downhill, they keep changing phone contact protocol. Normally you would be able to call them directly. Now you have to call a voicemail service to contact them. They rarely give incentive pay now. Care more about clients than employees and employee safety. They Let you excuse absences with Dr’s notes BUT will block you from seeing shifts if you have EXCUSED call offs more than three times a month. They will not tell you you’re blocked for a month.I literally had to call everyday for a week before they told me the truth. If you tell them you’re uncomfortable at a shift they will try to make you stay and Will try to make you feel as though you’re the problem. They harass you with calls BUT won’t answer yours or will text you after you leave a message for a call back.

A Compassionate Company

Pros

This has been by far one of the best companies I've ever worked for! It can be tough finding a start-up company in Austin that builds its foundation with compassion and the importance of culture. I feel incredibly grateful to have found Honor. There are so many tech start-ups in Austin but most of their products and services are for the millenial generation, which is great, but Honor is using technology to help the aging adult population receive the care they deserve. Every day I wake up, no matter how tired I may be, I am so excited to come to work because I know I have an incredible team of talented, kind, and empathetic individuals and the work we are doing has a direct impact on families and their loved ones. It's truly rewarding work and the company not only treats its clients with compassion but compassion is shown to everyone throughout the organization. There's never a time I have walked into work. no matter what office I was in, and wasn't greeted by someone with a warm smile. We are fed lunch every day that encompasses all dietary needs (gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan), the organization is incredibly diverse, and there is so much opportunity for individual growth. I am happy to not only call honor my job but also my home.

Cons

There is always constant change in the organization. I don't mind the change but sometimes people in the organization can be a bit resistant to change, but as a start-up tech company change is inevitable and necessary for growth.
