Pros

I love my co-workers . They are the reason I'm still here. Great team for many years ! Close to freeways. Easy to commute.

Cons

The issue is upper management has no clue what the people who are keeping them employees to make secessions truly do. I understand you have to budget in business but this isn't a grocery store with food items ! These are people's lives we are responsible for . They don't see patients or there employees as people we have all become just numbers to them.

Pros

The pay was based on years of experience, which for me was good and more than my previous job. They also pay a weekend differential. The onboarding process was efficient. I liked having a computer in every patient room. The physicians were approachable overall.

Cons

Staffing was terribly unsafe and the Senior Manager was unprofessional and punitive. She cut back the support staff such as CNA's and secretaries because they 'weren't clocking out for lunch'. We had high acuity patients (five count), including vents without enough assistance to care for them. Report consisted of a piece of paper faxed to you from the ED. I received a comatose patient from the ED with a blood sugar of 29 which had not been treated and no doctor wanted to accept the patient to give us orders. This is just one example of why I did not want to continue working there. The management is not supportive at all. I did not feel I could continue to work there.
