Great BCBA support but poor management and pay

The BCBAs are fantastic and discriminate needs between patients clearly and with strong intent & reason. Coworkers can be very helpful in situations you may need help in. The schedule/routine of patients is very thorough and placed thoughtfully with patients in mind.

Cons

Pay is not great for compensation of the work you do. Management plays favorites heavily and, in my opinion, are under qualified and overpaid. Training was online for a week and then 4 days of hands on working with the patients before being pushed out onto the floor. Sick day and PTO/call out policies can be ridiculous at times; if an emergency arrives or you become ill more then 2 times every 30 days you become at risk to gather large amounts of points, for example. PTO must be made 2 weeks in advance or it will be denied. There is also very heavy drama between staff and management. Between being told we can’t look at tablets longer than a few seconds to stay engaged with patients (all data is collected online and session notes are expected to be done before 2nd client midway through shift) and horrible hours for patient call offs and being overstaffed, this place is a total nightmare.
