      Work Horse Job No Benefits. Needs Union.

      Pros

      Tourism industry is strong. Job security. Leave work at work when you get off.

      Cons

      Overworked, underpaid minimum wage, eat lunch while waiting on customers, no benefits, stressful, often earned company average of 11 K a day selling tickets, no commission at dock. Family owned and run. Heard they ran hurricane "Katrina" storms. I was gone by that time. That says it all really.

      A Selfish under paying company

      Work the employees like slaves. Complaints about anything. No pay raise to hard workers. Cut your hours if you make overtime. Most worker quit and go to competition and make more hours and money.

      Pros

      They gave me a chance without me having a degree, allowed me to work independently, and when they saw my ability they wanted to send me for in depth training for the programming system Ron Turley and Associates which was their system to track everything you can imagine for their coaches.

      Cons

      Wanted me to wear office attire when I worked in the mechanics shop and had to handle bus parts. Jeans and company t-shirt were just fine. Lastly, after all the training I went through for speaking just as the mechanics did ( which was sexist on HR and Hotards accord) HR believed the lead mechanic when he lied to her about me having said something inappropriate. If I was able to make sure not to mess up in the second probationary period why would I take the chance to ruin my career over using words that apparently were only ok for the men at Hotard to use.
