Pros

Flexible hours, slow work environment, usually quiet.

Cons

Managers play favorites. Doesn’t matter how smart you are or if you’re more qualified. Managers are also degrading and resistant to change, would rather print 300+ pages than use ctrlF. The only way to advance or get a raise after years of work is if you’re related to someone. Part timers do not get paid holidays but are required to take 2 weeks off for winter break. Other holidays are also unpaid such as Thanksgiving for a week and other minor holidays. While this is a nice break, it’s a terrible pay cut. Employees are rude and do nothing but gossip. It’s like being in high school again.
