I would encounter a conflict of company policies from time to time and would also find myself having to perform the responsibilities of other departments. This isn't to say that one shouldn't be collaborative with other departments but, when I found myself having to perform those duties with no increase in pay, that isn't good business practice. Also, higher management can be inconsistent and non supportive during the occasions that require a collaborative effort.

This establishment is an embarrassment to the city of Houston and higher education. The Human Resources department is controlled largely by a few current and power hungry individuals; people are hired based on who they know instead of the credentials they possess. That said, the students suffer from the gross ineptitude of the administration. The lack of professionalism is rampant throughout the system.
