      decent salary, good hours, paid on time

      Cons

      disorganized, poor communication, unrealistic expectations, adults do not have control in classrooms, children run wild at middle school and high school level, no support from administrators, administrators not certified, too much to name

      Pros

      -Large company so benefits package was diverse and many to choose from -A lot of professional development opportunities and district can pay for some of these PDs if your school has enough funding

      Cons

      -Too much bureaucracy (top heavy) -Not much freedom to be yourself as a teacher (micromanaging and they want cookie cutter teaching)

      It is a public school.

      Cons

      Unsafe environment. Hostile Environment. No break times. PDAs and IDPY are subjective based on mood of principal. District under scrutiny by Ethics Board. Conflict of interest by HISD and vendors under investigation. Whistle blowers fired. Workman's Comp will get you fired. Terry Grier no longer CEO. He quit suddenly. No letter of reference means end of YOUR career. They will act so badly to force you to quit or kill yourself.
