Pros

1. There is never a dull moment at HubSpot. Our product is growing, the team is growing, and we are constantly evolving to meet the needs of the industry. 2. HubSpot's mission is to help millions of organizations grow better, and it's been inspiring to work at a company who believes we can have an impact on the world. Our vision for the future is exciting, and allows for continuous improvement and growth. 3. The people who work at HubSpot are smart and dedicated, but also human and aspire to create a culture of empathy. I genuinely enjoy coming to work every day. 4. The flexibility is huge for me, many teams allow you to work remotely and take time off when you need it.

Cons

1. Because we are growing so quickly, it's difficult to stay up to date on information, and sometimes this results in duplicate effort from more than one team. 2. We are still figuring out how to scale and create a cultural that is globally inclusive and provides the same opportunities for every team in every office. Many of the career opportunities are still at our headquarters in Cambridge although I know leadership is working to change that. 3. Diversity is a challenge, many employees are young and share a similar worldview. It's part of our goals to change it, but will take time.

Thanks so much for a wonderful and thoughtful review-I feel it's chock full of context to help candidates learn more about us, so thank you for sharing and for all that you do at HubSpot. I would echo the commentary around people, product, and flexibility, and I agree with you we have continued work to do around diversity and scale. Thanks for taking the time to share this and for helping us grow, I sincerely appreciate it! -Katie

Pros

LEARNING. co-workers, engaged leadership, resources, humble, self-aware, appropriately paranoid.

Cons

It can be an echo-chamber, you can definitely feel the screws tightening on budgets as the whole company focuses more closely on the stock price.

Thanks for your review, and I promise to read your feedback both here and in the ENPS--Dharmesh reads them all too, so you have both of our eyes on both at a bare minimum! I am also happy people continue to push on D&I--it's the right thing for our business but also for our mission to help millions of companies grow better--to do so we need a team as diverse as our customer base. I also would agree on life-work fit--we have an interesting intersection between autonomy and flexibility there, so we always have to find a balance. Thanks as always for the feedback, keep it coming, and thank you so much for all that you do! -Katie

The greatest company I have ever worked for

Pros

I could go on and on about all of the wonderful things that make HubSpot the best place I have ever worked, but I’ll try to be as concise as possible: the company culture, transparent and communicative management, flexible and healthy work/life balance (+ unlimited PTO), autonomous yet collaborative working environment, exciting products that improve every day, constant opportunities for learning and growth, food/coffee/beer garden, & passionate colleagues who always value and strive for inclusion .

Cons

Pay is on the lower side for some of the entry-level positions, but this is pretty standard. On the plus side, there is so much room & encouragement to grow within this organization that HubSpotters have many opportunities for upward mobility.

This headline warms my heart-thank you for sharing your perspective, and for being a part of our team--our people are critical to our success, so thank you for all that you do! I love that you call out autonomy matched with collaboration, and that you call out the room for growth once folks join. I promise you we'll continue to take your feedback seriously and give people trust to do great work and support to guide them along the way-thank you again for taking the time to write this! -Katie
