Pros

-- Amazing Culture (HEART is a real thing at HubSpot) -- Tons of flexibility with coming to the office and working from home -- Amazing co-workers and excellent management staff -- Great benefits and unlimited vacation!

Cons

-- The only con that keeps me from giving this place a 5-stars, is the starting salary of $35,000 in Support. This salary is well below industry standards, especially in a place with a high-cost of living like Boston.

Thanks for your review and hopefully you saw JD's note today on the thought we are putting into helping Support. Long-term, we have more work to do to think through the model that will work for the next decade for the business and for our employees, and that will likely require some thoughtful considerations on talent pool, cost, and expectations, but we are doing some hard work with support leadership to ensure that we remain committed to helping support grow and our customers delighted, but also set our success team up for succeed--thanks for the candid feedback, it's top of mind for us at the moment. -Katie

Pros

Great team, managers invest in your career growth & learning, small team so you have lots of skill development & 1:1s, you have a great opportunity to learn the in's and out's of the product before you move up in the sales org

Cons

Not much flexibility in the role like there is on every other team in HubSpot, not able to participate in a lot of HubSpot events/learning sessions because we are constantly manning the channels, sometimes you feel micromanaged, role gets tedious after 5 months because your day to day is the same (role is typically 8-10 months), no incentives even though this is a entry-level sales role.

Thanks for the feedback and for your role in helping the ISC org scale. I agree with you on the learning opportunities and career growth from the role, so glad to hear you're enjoying it and expanding your skill set while you're here! I can definitely understand the challenge of not having as much flexibility as some other teams and that it can be repetitive from time to time--in support what we've done to combat that is building in an "off-phone" hour to help build in development time, so I'll connect with sales leadership to see if there is any thought to piloting that. Thanks for the feedback and your help for our prospects and customers! -Katie
