      Great opportunities at fast growing startup

      Pros

      - young, quick changing and agile working environment - you'll be sorrounded by innovative, smart and entrepreneurial people - you work on cool stuff, really cool stuff - you can have impact on everyday projects - I've never found it difficult to express openly my ideas and give feedback to managers

      Cons

      - since 3D Hubs is a startup you can't expect certainty and fixed goals - they should be more prompted to offer smart working to employees (since 70% of them is non Dutch)

      Pros

      Learn a hell of a lot Meet and work with great people that honestly care about your growth Fast fast fast An environment which makes you feel like part of the family A clear structure and clear accountabilities

      Cons

      OKR's still need some work to implement correctly Communications sometimes internally between teams need to be clearer Work-life balance is difficult at times, as the job is very full on. Attempts made to solve but its a difficult one and nothing has stuck. Not much room for upwards promotion, like in most startups.

      What an amazing year @ 3D Hubs

      Pros

      - the founders and leadership team fully endorsed the hiring and employer branding strategy I proposed and later implemented - we managed to achieve a great ROI on all initiatives and brought on board strong people on tech and non-tech roles - good focus on diversity hiring and nurturing a truly international team - healthy company culture and core values - good balance of work hard play hard - great career opportunities for people that want to explore more the manufacturing industry - interesting technical challenges for IT professionals

      Cons

      - a bit chaotic at times, but this is normal for a fast-paced, disruptive start-up - high pressure and multi-tasking responsibilities, but this kept it interesting with plenty of opportunities to develop new soft and hard skills - the recruitment budget was a bit low, but nevertheless, we managed to achieve and exceed the hiring targets - some decisions were made behind closed doors - the pivot towards manufacturing and CNC was a bit painful for the 3D printing community, but it was navigated well and now the company has a clear model and business strategy
