Pros

Usually decent working conditions/environment. The pay is mostly competitive.

Cons

Having to constantly drink the latest organizational kool-aid/propaganda and industry fads. Some departments are cold and siloed. A few are able to create working team "families". There is a LOT of politics. This is a huge organization that is built on bureaucracy.

Company benefits are really nice. Lots of locations for employment . Associate to Associate contact was great including help and follow through.

Cons

Very ignorant, un-trained managers. Hard work does not matter. Worked out side of work hours and not paid. Not amenable for transfers, approvals for such transfers have to be approved by Director. Internal management intimate relationships. Promotions to individuals that are on probationary action and still allowed promotion by supervisor just to move them from the current managers responsibility. Dictators in management. Micro management huge problem. It is about who you know in the company.
