Pros

Some really good co-workers, Not bad pay, Benefits and Time off.

Cons

Totally dysfunctional. No communication. Old Boys club, Egos and Arrogance, No clear direction, High turn-over, Inexperienced people in high positions, No training, Everyone is doing their own thing, No accountability, Constant change and restructuring, Projects started and dropped before completed. People with no knowledge of process writing process. SHALL I GO ON.

IS Leadership

Pros

Progressive CEO that is driving accountability and delivery of external and internal targets, strong executive in many areas. Company is now truly committed to growth in short term, not just long term. Great vision for corporation given assets and market conditions

Cons

2012 IS leadership charismatic but presents different messages and promises based on audience. A strong bully mentality exists where current and former IS employees are belittled. Many large scale initiatives trying to present a strategic face to department, but IS leadership unable to deliver to business committments and budget. 2012 budget largely spent at rush in year end to buy expensive hardware that sits in boxes with no room to rack in datacentre at end of year

Pros

easy job and can work with others that you know. sometimes can be fun and relaxing when theres not a lot to be done.

Cons

long hours usually over 9 hours, as well as lots of overtime and picking up extra shifts unwillingly when other employees don't show up. lack of workers led to trying to multi-task jobs in the store, in the back stock, and at the gas pumps constantly
