      Pros

      I was essentially given a list of tasks to complete over the course of my shift and left to complete them. The envirnoment was good and the people were friendly as well.

      Cons

      The salary was low, but competitive for the position, but it was difficult to pay for college and an apartment on the salary despite working 30 hours a week. There was also no employee discount

      Pros

      Employed part-time weekend for extra income. The interview process was simple albeit drawn out. 4 or 5 trips to the store for interview, drug test orientation, another orientation, another meeting before actually starting work. Everyone is friendly and the store is bright and cheerful. The store is well merchandised and it obvious customer satisfaction is important. I"m satisfied with 10 hours a week because that's all I need since I already work time but I know hours can be a pinch point for others.

      Cons

      The management is very very young. The HR manger, while nice, doesn't really read her emails and starts responding before reading the whole thing. The whole uniform for women needs to be re-evaluated. Tucked in blouses for women? Eep - Horrible. All of the womens blouses are finished on the hem to be worn untucked. Nothing flattering about tucked in. Lots and lots of assistant managers. Some in-fighting between departments but that hasn't really impacted me. I was sold a bill of good about what I would be doing. I was told mostly floral delivery and some catering. It has really been mostly scut work with some deliveries, mostly catering and some floral. None too pleased about the catering aspect.
