Pros

No physical work is required. The call center environment is very well kept and the computers, while a tad dated, still perform the multitasking needed fairly well. Building IT is always on top of tickets.

Cons

The only consistent aspect of the job is regular policy changes. Pay, benefits, work load, and consumer-facing policy changes occur far too much for comfort. Misinformation/mistakes produced by colleagues creates more work for everyone and the few problem colleagues are never forced out. The good ones leave, the bad ones stay.

Pros

Ability to advance from within

Cons

-Little to no formal training upon being hired -Thrown to the wolves to "figure it out on your own by trial and error" (sink or swim philosophy) -Upper management doesn't practice what they preach
