Pros

Full benefits is the only thing that comes to mind.

Cons

Lack of training and management. Makes promises that barely come to fruition. Very fast paced, and by fast paced I mean last minute. They rush things out the door all for sales, minimal thinking of the repercussions, even failing to inform their own employees of the launch. They might tell you the day before though. The manager I had was horrible - micromanages, unable to trust, plays favorites and unapproachable. The new manager we had was good - however, lacked in areas of giving criticism and announcing one's personal business amongst the team (completely unacceptable). Only acknowledges those they want too, never acknowledges everyone for their hard work and dedication to the company. Don't get me wrong - they did make some changes to bring awareness to their strong players. However, you must acknowledge everyone, not just a certain few. It would be nice for them to do that. I've been very vocal with management about this, but never saw change. After COVID-19, I was furloughed with the company immediately. We were told over the phone by our CEO in a 15-minute phone call of the furlough, as well as promised 2 weeks of PTO. During the furlough, we received very little to no communication from management and lack of responses to their employees. How quick they were to furlough 70% of their staff showed how they treat their employees, especially feeling easily disposable by a company you've learned and grown so much from. Favoritism plays a huge role in this company if you aren't apart of their clique. During the furlough, the company launched a partnership with Telemed, the exchange of medical information using electronic communication. I believe they only did this to keep their doors open, and this might be their back-up plan if a similar occurrence affected the company as much as COVID-19. During Telemed, we were trained fast and quickly on the phones to assist with patients. Management lacked calling our errors. Telemed staff brought attention to our errors to where Hydrafacial just handed you a paper and said "to work on it".

Pros

HydraFacial the treatment is amazing, no sales competitors really on machine serums, 50% of the people great, experience looks good on your resume.

Cons

The famous phrase at HF is "We're building the airplane as it is going down the run way" and man it really felt like that, my work life has been chaos for 2 yrs. I never understood how a 20yr old company making millions of dollars every month could not get themselves together. Everything was last minute, "oh we are putting on a global conference next month, send me 10 invites in the next 30 mins.. sorry its the last day of the Q" "Oh you need to recruit 30 aestheticians to work for free this saturday at our World Tour event" "Sorry your we haven't booked the location for your required 50 person educational event happening in 3 weeks.""I need you to sell this new product with absolutely no sales materials, the company's financial future depends on it" etc. etc. etc. and that was all before the Covid-19 crisis. It was always presented as HF is so successful, "we are just this crazy successful beast and we can't roll out proper business plans because all this success is creating such chaos!!" Covid-19 pulled the curtain back and really the chaos was coming from the business not begin ran properly, not because we were just "too successful". The decisions being made are not smart or rational, if you want to work here you need to be ok with not understanding a single reason why something is begin done. This might change if HF gets bought out, but just think about what would be obvious/smart business decision to make, then know HF is going to the exact opposite of that. This is not a place that you will be able to work long term, #1 they will immediately get rid of you if they aren't making 20 mil a month, #2 the burn out is so real you probably will not want to work here for more than 2 yrs. #3 you as a sales person will not be happy never. ever. hitting your sales quota. And yes it is hard to think senior management hasn't done that on purpose since its been almost 2 yrs of BDMs not hitting numbers. So if you don't like the base pay, move along. The half built plane is crashing.

Pros

Constant change, fast paced, brand recognition, wonderful training and education team.

Cons

Lack of communication and transparency. Recent hire prior to furlough in March, no transparency on desire to be acquired by larger PE firm. 2 weeks of pay for furloughed employees, which during interview process we were told "huge company, successful, large balance sheet". Lack of communication during furlough. The furlough conversations with team members rated on the highest level of unprofessionalism by CEO and VP's.
