Pros

Engineers (at least the ones who are left) are highly skilled and intelligent.

Cons

There has been a mass exodus of middle management over the last 12 months. Senior leadership has driven away talented engineering managers who were actually capable of achieving the company mission. Junior engineers have been forced to take on management roles, and there is now a complete lack of mentorship. Office politics rules all. If your goal is to deliver a project, this isn't the place for you. Low pay, toxic senior leadership, lack of meaningful growth opportunity.

Pros

Work is somewhat interesting and unique. Subsidized lunches. Week long company holiday from Christmas to New Years.

Cons

Underpaid for my experience level. Performance reviews are based on how much you're liked by your manager. Overworked and understaffed. Most of management/leadership seem to be here as a resumé booster and will likely leave as soon as they can, they're not doing much for the company. Unlimited PTO is the biggest scam here, work life balance is non existence. Stock options are worthless. New company direction will likely not pan out. Especially if you're early in your career (0-5 years) don't work here, go somewhere else where you'll get better mentorship.

Behind industry standard on wages. Very little stability as a startup with no leadership.
