…this company is living proof that there really is no such thing as a free lunch. You pay for that free meal dearly in the form of incompetent ‘executives’, rescinded benefits (even when they’re in the employee manual), and a stone-age approach to the workday (God help you if you arrive 10 minutes late or try to leave 5 minutes early, and this applies to *salaried* employees who already work long hours and on weekends). The company is run by clueless leadership l, none of whom can make reasonable decisions on business goals, let alone know how to run a company. Example: why would Talent Ops sit in the Middle East, when the company is based in LA and the majority of employees are in the LA headquarters? It’s sad that a company that started out with so much potential is on a collision course with rock bottom.

I was a part of Hyperloop One for a couple of years and during my time, I experienced a lot of growth and innovation. The company culture was fantastic and the colleagues I worked with were top-notch professionals. However, over the last year, the new leadership took over and things started to change for the worse. The company culture changed and many of the best people left. The company's direction changed and it was no longer a place I was proud to work for. It's sad to see what once was a great company be destroyed by new leadership.
