Pros

Location in downtown Vancouver. Close to transit. New office space. Decent product offering.

Cons

Clique environment can be difficult for new hires. There is a lack of strong leadership and promotions don't tend to go to this qualified, but rather to "friends" of management. New hire training is a waste of time. There needs to be proper on-boarding in place.

I've worked at Hyperwallet for 7 years now. I've seen the company evolve over the years. We used to be in a run down office, but have now moved to a new really cool office in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The culture is really good. I really like all the people I work with. We have a culture committee that takes good care of us and the Facilities Mgr keeps our fridges well stocked with healthy foods. Happy Hour on Fridays is always a lot of fun.

Cons

More communications from leadership. We had a good strategy session with the COO early in the year, but after that we haven't heard much. Shifting priorities. Hard to take "urgent" seriously anymore.
