I was torn when I left Hyperwallet. I enjoyed my colleagues; wonderful people. The company has changed so much over the last four years. They've definitely had their ups and down, but the last year has seen tremendous growth. I felt that I was paid fair, although the base benefits could have been better relative to what I see at other employers. That was the primary reason to leave was longer term personal stability with an employer with a good pension plan. Local leadership is great. No complaints there.

Cons

The benefits should be improved so they are more competitive to other similar sized employers in the Vancouver area.

always short on DevOps and QAs lack of transparency overloaded with unrealistic expectation business rely heavily on DSOs 10~15% people got laid off last year high turn over most of C-levels are located in the states some must-go projects are not documented below average pay
