Pros

Work is fulfilling, you make a difference every day. Flexible hours Decent pay Pays for your cpr and first aid certification

Cons

Extremely strict training schedule, sometimes requiring you to do the same training 2x in one calendar year so you don't miss a deadline in the next year. All trainings in person, none online. Few available dates compared to other companies Admin does not keep you up to date regarding changes Little input from providers Billing restrictions if customer is above the age of 18 No benefits besides health insurance, and that is only offered so they are compliant with ACA

Thanks very much for your comment and advice to management. We are currently working to remedy some of your concerns --- including a move to online training which will allow our staff the option to more freely ensure their compliance through the year. It is a great idea and we are happily putting it into action. Regarding your other cons and statements, please email hr@iamboundless.org so we can discuss. Input from our associates is not only welcome, but necessary for us to continue to be a preferred employer for our excellent staff.

Pros

Holidays off and "slight" pay increase every once in a while.

Cons

Don't allow employees to bring family to employee holiday events, but then turn around and let consumers attend them. I'm assuming the consumers are using employee event funds at that point. This week they conveniently switched to another payroll company right before a pay period where the paychecks would be deposited the same day as a holiday party that school staff had organized so they could bring loved ones. The paycheck was also the first paycheck after the holidays, so you can imagine people might be short on cash, in addition to rent and mortgages being due.

Thank you for your response. In the current climate, our providing very regular 3% pay increases to all of our incredible associates is something we are quite proud of. Regarding holiday events, we are a work family --- and that includes the people we provide support to. Each day as Boundless employees, we wake up to make their days better and to celebrate them. Although one holiday event may have been limited to our work family, we have many more events through the year where we happily welcome our associates and their families --- including a pancake breakfast with Santa. Regarding your other cons and statements, please email hr@iamboundless.org so we can discuss. Input from our associates is not only welcome, but necessary for us to continue to be a preferred employer for our excellent staff.

Pros

We are pretty good with our residential programs in Columbus.

Cons

Company has no clue about Day Hab but they are faking a project in Dayton because they made money on residential and now think they are the king of DD services. It is the clients who will suffer.

Although I appreciate your input, it is a bit confusing. You posted in October 2017 about our allegedly faking a project in Dayton, but we didn't provide any services in Dayton in October 2017. Proudly, we did start providing day services in Dayton in January 2018 after a successful proposal and transition with the Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities. And you are correct --- we are more than pretty good with our residential programs in central Ohio and are happily spreading that Boundless spirit to Montgomery County. Please feel free to reach out to hr@iamboundless.org if you would like to discuss further. Input from our associates is not only welcome, but necessary for us to continue to be a preferred employer for our excellent staff.
