Pros

The people working there are awesome. They really care about each other as well as the company as a whole

Cons

The company moved locations from where I live and I was not able to move. Other than that the company was awesome.

Pros

the money is good..that's it..

Cons

The IAP Worldwide Services group at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC has some very unprofessional people working there. They are ghetto and never follow thru on things that they were supposed to do, yet in the end, they blame the employees. Walter Reed is a very bad place to work for. The employees are backstabbers and are jealous when they find out that you have more credentials than them. In turn, this makes for a bad situation working for this IAP customer because IAP is just as professional! Don't work here, you've been warned..

Pros

IAP is a growing defense contractor with a surprising number of compassionate leaders and an ethics policy that is more than just propaganda. Having worked in this and many other industries, I had given up hope of finding a job in an environment where people really did work together for the common good. I really just hoped to find a position where I could get paid enough to pay the bills and have at least one more good day than bad in a week. I was surprised to find a company again where I actually LIKE my job and my employer and do not feel I have to compromise my principles in order to remain employed. I have had a few personal issues arise (and in a short time after beginning my employment here) and was surprised at the genuine support I received not only from my manager but also some of the senior leadership of the company. Of course no job is without it's challenges and I have experienced some frustrations (mostly due to communication issues) but overall I have to say this is a very good company. It has a culture that I thought was long since gone. I have been very pleasantly surprised that even in government contracting, there is still a company with a corporate culture of "always do the right thing". This company is growing beause of the culture, not in spite of it!

Cons

IAP is a global company and as such needs to work on a more efficient means of communication. It is sometimes difficult to get detailed and accuate information in a timely manner.
